CHOCOLATE MOLTEN CAKE


In 1987, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten introduced this dessert to New York City after he accidentally pulled his chocolate sponge cake out of the oven too early and found the center was oozing liquid chocolate. He called it the “Chocolate Valrhona Cake”, served it with vanilla ice cream, and the rest is chocoholic history.
